Just moved into the neighborhood and decided to check out StarLight. The owner was very welcoming and nice. The doughnuts are very good and I was told that they switch up flavors monthly. The Boston cream has the best cream filling ever, I’ll be back for more!

Cutest little spot with the most mouthwatering donuts and super friendly staff! Cheryl welcomed us in, asked about dietary restrictions and provided an explanation of the donuts that left us drooling. Cheryl was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. We loooooved the donuts we’ve tried and will be back soon for more!! Highly recommend the Boston Cream (they have both a regular and a vegan version!) and the Roasted Bourbon Peach (it’s a July monthly donut so get it before the first full week of August when their monthly options switch!). I have to try the Raspberry White Chocolate Mousse and Rootbeer Float before next month! It’s easy to find the current offerings on their website and the display in store makes it clear which donuts have certain ingredients- if you are vegan or need to avoid soy, have no fear, there are tons of delicious options for you!!

I tried Starlight Doughnut Lab months before I even moved to Cincinnati, and was so blown away thst it may have influenced my decision to move here. I make a point to try out the new vegan flavors every month, always leaving room for the GOATs: Vegan Boston Crème, vegan crème brûlée, and Cookie Butter. I really appreciate the creativity and their dedication to making vegan options that are just as interesting as the other flavors.

I just discovered a donut shop that redefines what a donut can be, think of it as the Beyoncé of baked goods. The dough is so unbelievably soft it’s like biting into a fluffy cloud, but with a crispy shell that’s perfectly crunchy, like a donut with a secret superhero cape. How do they pull this off? This man is a wizard with a rolling pin? Honestly, these donuts are so good, I’m considering quitting my job just to work there and find out the secret. If you’re a fan of life’s simple pleasures, do yourself a favor and visit. Your taste buds will thank you, and your snack game will forever be elevated.

Edit: I went in for just two donuts. Should have been $7, but was charged $11. When I asked to clarify the price, the staff was quite short with me. I paid and left. One of my favorite places to get donuts in Cincinnati. Feeling disappointed by the interaction especially when I was the only customer in the shop. Fantastic and fresh donuts. Fun flavors and classics available. Savory donuts options too! Such reasonable prices for the SIZE of the donuts. The woman at the cash register was quite chatty. The churro donut and the chocolate ring were our favorites. They change the flavors monthly so you can always expect something new! Vegan donuts are available and are just as good as the rest of them.
